- A functioning unix system with development packages installed (gcc, make,
etc...).
- A sound card and the privileges to use it.
- Perl (For the clients) with access to CPAN (Several Perl libraries are
required from CPAN). See the client documentation for more information.
- The Peep source and a Peep sound package. Both of those can be obtained
from the sourceforge website or via ftp at:
ftp://download.sourceforge.net/pub/sourceforge/peep
- The expat library for XML parsing:
http://expat.sourceforge.net.
I also suggest consulting the INSTALL text that is provided with each
distribution. It provides similar information to what's found here and might
be more current.
